Nature has abundant variety of Vegetables & Fruits, which in combination make healthy food. Nature is perfect in diversity. All these vegetables occur in nature in different seasons, so that through out the year seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits are available.
One should eat the variety of fresh vegetables and fruits as are available during the year in place of using preserved, processed and packed vegetables and fruits, which have loss of nutrition in processing and storage in comparison to the fresh vegetables and fruits.
On storage there is loss of nutrition, because after harvesting the fruit and vegetables are in living state and they use up the nutrition in their living metabolic processes and toxins produced are not eliminated.
One should drink plenty of water, milk and fruit juices, which make excellent beverage and has a good role to keep one healthy. In case one feels tired, water with fresh lime juice is helpful in giving instant rejuvenation effect.
One should ensure that the daily food essentially consists of green and brightly colored vegetables, dark leafy green vegetables and lettuce. Fresh fruits including berries provide the necessary vitamins and minerals which are required for production of enzymes and hormones, which are necessary for proper functioning of physiological processes.
Fish and chicken are providing protein from animal source required for growth and cell repair functions in the body.
Moderate quantity of Nuts, dry fruits and healthy snacks should be taken with adequate care of the total calorie intake restrictions to be followed to escape the bad effects of increased weight.
Use of healthy cooking oils like canola and olive oil should be preferred over hydrogenated vegetable oils and ground nut oil, which have comparatively very high calorific value liable to increase cholesterol levels in blood.
