Cancer Appearance and Symptoms:

Cancer incidentally has no symptoms, which on observing one can say it is cancer. Considering this fact about cancer one needs to take care of the risk factors one is associated with and needs to go for proper screening to rule out the presence of cancer. Nearly all the cancer manifestations have a close relation to the age group of the person. Further to rule out cancer, the family doctor is the best judge because he knows you more closely.

Persons who indulge in smoking, consuming alcohol indiscriminately, having more exposure in the Sun and ultimately the connection of genetics have a higher incidence of having cancer in them. If any of the ancestors had a history of cancer, the progeny also has a chance of contracting a cancer disease.   One should have broad information, which symptom may look like cancer and final conclusive approach is up to the judgment of the doctor.

Cancer is a mystery in itself because the symptoms presented are similar to non-cancer disease. The doctor also concludes about confirmed cancer disease only after thorough diagnostic investigations.

The apparent cough like symptoms are noticed in routine cases of bronchitis or sinusitis, but if the is cough of long duration not responding to treatments and presence of blood traces in the saliva gives an indication of cancer. It can be due to cancer of lungs or any where in head and neck region. Still the doctor has to labor hard to give a confirmed cancer decision on the disease.

If one notices a change in bowel habit, which in it’s usual form can be related to fiber content of one’s diet or fluid intake is inadequate. If there are thin stools, doctors suspect cancer of colon. Presence of blood in stools is usually a symptom of hemorrhoids, but it can be from any other part of alimentary canal leading to the doubt of cancer.
